Artist of the day

I've been a Ryan Leslie fan for a short period of time, but I've recently fallen madly, deeply in love with his music. Not only is he a great artist, but he's a talented musician, producer and a really intelligent guy. He scored a perfect 1600 on his SAT's at 14 and graduated from Harvard at 19. He plays multiple instruments and produces all of his own music. I love this guy, and I think you will too. Some of my favorite songs of his: Gibberish, Addicted, Diamond Girl, Guardian Angel, It's love, I choose you, and SO many more.

Enjoy this song Guardian Angel, it's one of my favorites.

Sexy Salmon

I've been cooking a lot recently, and have become slightly obsessed. I made this ( http://tinyurl.com/ykrmnpt ) Pesto Salmon tonight, and it was so easy and so delicious. It's light and perfect for these warm nights that we've been having. If you're a lover of salmon and pesto, as I am, then you'll enjoy this dish. And making your own pesto is wonderful, I don't even mind that I smell like garlic and basil.

Ingredients
2 cups fresh spinach leaves
1/2 cup basil leaves
1/4 cup fat-free, low sodium chicken broth (I used regular)
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
3 garlic cloves, peeled
Cooking spray
2 6-oz salmon fillets, skinned
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400
2. Place first 6 ingredients in a food processor or blender, and process until mixture is smooth. Or you can make the pesto chunky and have it look like the picture above.
3. Spoon 3 tablespoons pesto into bottom of an 8-inch baking dish coated with a cooking spray. Place salmon on the pesto layer and then spoon the rest of the pesto on top of the salmon. When the pesto is pureed, it’ll cover the entire salmon.
4. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until they flake easily with a fork.

Outdoorsy

Pretty outdoor seating areas get me every time.

I dunno what it is...

but I just love these rooms.

Room for moi?

How beautiful are these bedrooms?

this is wonderfully cozy and inviting:

Location Location Location

*sigh*

You're so vain

I loveee vanities

Dinner party

I would like to enjoy each and every meal here, please.

Too pretty to pass up

Seriously, what kind of room is this? Is it outdoors? Whatever, I need it.

Not sure if I'd ever get out of bed...

I'd sit out here every single morning

Poolin'

Having a pool is a necessity for me. There's nothing quite like a 7 am swim in your own backyard, or a sunset bbq and swim during the warm summer nights.

Storage

Nothin turns me on quite like organization and color coordination.

All fired up

I need a fire place (or 2) in my future house. I used to love coming home to a nice, cozy fire when Orange County reached a frigid 55 degrees. They make a home feel so warm, literally and figuratively. I'd love one in my room too, since I always get sooo cold!
