The Weeknd

I haven't been this excited about an artist in a REALLY long time. This guy, The Weeknd, is a 20 year old r&b artist from Toronto with the voice of an angel. For the past week, he's all that Kevin and I have been listening to. He's so freaking smooth and I just want the world to know about him, save for the radio stations that over-play songs and artists. He's like a mix of Drake and the Dream, with a touch of Jesus; 3 of my favorite people. Please do yourselves a favor and listen to his entire mixtape here. But I'm not. I, a 22 year old woman, have a school girl crush on Justin Bieber. No joke, this kiddo is a doll. I didn't understand what all of the hoopla was about, but my 13 year old sister adores him and he is Usher's (mY bAbiE dAdDy) protege, so I gave him a chance. And now, I am a Belieber. He's so stinkin' cute, he can sing, rap, dance...he's like a white baby Usher. Okay before I get any creepier, just listen to him free style:

Artist of the day

I've been a Ryan Leslie fan for a short period of time, but I've recently fallen madly, deeply in love with his music. Not only is he a great artist, but he's a talented musician, producer and a really intelligent guy. He scored a perfect 1600 on his SAT's at 14 and graduated from Harvard at 19. He plays multiple instruments and produces all of his own music. I love this guy, and I think you will too. Some of my favorite songs of his: Gibberish, Addicted, Diamond Girl, Guardian Angel, It's love, I choose you, and SO many more.
